With your help, real change is possible.

South Central Kansas faces urgent challenges. Poverty, social inequities, addiction and the mental health crisis perpetuate cycles of hardship, impacting families and communities.

Symptom-based care offers only temporary relief, and fragmented systems can’t address the interconnected causes of crisis. But together, we can build a better way forward.

We can make Wichita a national model for accessible care.

The Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) and Sedgwick County have selected the OneRise Health Campus as the site for the new 104-bed Kansas Regional Mental Health Hospital. This $100 million investment establishes OneRise as a center for transformative care.

And the hospital is only the beginning.

In partnership with expert providers, we are creating an integrated behavioral health campus that combines clinical care, rehabilitation, housing, workforce development, family supports and more.

This approach:
  • Tackles root causes and breaks destructive cycles
  • Addresses key social determinants of health
  • Boosts health outcomes
  • Reduces emergency care reliance
  • Broadens access to nutritious food and quality childcare
  • Strengthens families and individuals

OneRise’s model creates a wellness foundation that empowers all to grow.

NewLeaf Grove Capital Campaign

Now in progress on the OneRise Health Campus, NewLeaf Grove is a coordinated neighborhood of care — where housing, healthcare, workforce skills opportunities and other supportive services empower the journey from instability to independence.

We are raising capital for Phase One: supportive housing for residents with a clear plan and set goals towards economic mobility. Through a tax-deductible gift or mission-aligned loan, you can help build a neighborhood of 37 safe, efficient Prime Craftsman homes.

Your capital enables:

  • Stable, trauma-informed housing for vulnerable people in our community
  • Workforce and income growth
  • Less reliance on costly public systems

Sponsor a NewLeaf Grove Home

A contribution of approximately $50,000 funds the development of a 1-bedroom/1-bath home within the NewLeaf Grove community. These homes are intentionally designed to provide stable, trauma-informed housing for vulnerable individuals working to rebuild their lives and transition from crisis to long-term stability.

Your support helps create:

  • A healing-centered environment grounded in dignity and accountability
  • Access to behavioral and physical health services
  • Community connection and peer support
  • Workforce and life-skills opportunities

Together We Rise Fund

You can make a one-time donation or set up recurring donations at an interval that works for you. Any amount is welcome, valued and warmly appreciated.
